4 years for mortgage loan fraud

The never ending parade of pastors heading off to jail provides me with a veritable smorgasbord of posting opportunities. I’m getting fat on the excess…

Keith Pittman tried to obtain a subprime mortgage for a prime piece of real-estate under false pretenses. That sounds like something a pastor would do, right?

Pittman was indicted in June 2008 during "Operation Malicious Mortgage," in which authorities charged more than 400 people nationwide were charged for mortgage fraud. Pittman pleaded guilty in February to the indictment.

He was a pastor for more than 20 years at St. Louis area and metro-east churches.

I’m sure the government targeted him because of his faith.

Hat tip to Hank of Shallow Cognitions. And remember, if you send them, I will post them.
